Equip your students with the knowledge to recognize abuse early

Free, comprehensive education on warning signs—integrated into your health or wellness curriculum

Your students are entering the age when relationships matter most

Ages 14–25 are when relationships form. When patterns are set. When early education matters most.

Right now, most young women are taught to recognize violence, but not manipulation. They're told to leave unhealthy situations, but not how to recognize them early.

The result: Many don't recognize unhealthy relationship dynamics until they're already entangled.

Our solution: The Warning Signs teaches the patterns that precede abuse—so students can recognize them before they become trapped.

Why this matters for your school

Prevention Over Crisis

Most abuse education focuses on crisis response. We focus on early recognition—before crisis arrives. This aligns with modern trauma-informed school practices.

Comprehensive

We don't just teach 'leave if it's bad.' We teach what 'bad' actually looks like. We cover all types of abuse, not just violence. We explain why women stay, so students understand without judgment.

Free

No licensing fees. No payment per student. No freemium model. It's completely free. Your budget stays intact.

Evidence-Based

Built on research on abuse dynamics and trauma-informed education. Written by a survivor and educator. Tested with real students. Effective.

What students learn

The course covers 10 modules across three phases:

Phase 1: Recognition (Modules 1–5)

  • The false narratives about abuse and what's actually true
  • How abuse begins beautifully (and why that matters)
  • The slow erosion (and how to spot it)
  • Power shifts in relationships
  • Different types of abuse

Phase 2: Understanding (Modules 6–8)

  • Why women stay (removing judgment)
  • What drives abusive behavior
  • The cycle of abuse (tension, incident, reconciliation, calm)

Phase 3: Support (Modules 9–10)

  • What to do if you recognize these patterns in your own life
  • How to support a friend who might be experiencing abuse

Each module: 1,500–2,500 words, formatted for easy reading, includes real-world examples and survivor stories. Text-based, no video required, accessible to all students.

What students report after completing the course

"I didn't realize that what my friend is experiencing is actually a pattern. This course helped me understand what's happening—and how to support her without judgment."

High school student, Canada

"I thought I was too smart to miss abuse. This course showed me that it's not about intelligence—it's about recognizing patterns early. That changed everything."

University student, USA

"I'm not in an unhealthy relationship, but now I know what to look for. And I can actually help my friends understand their situations."

College student, Australia

Why early education matters

Research shows:

  • Women who recognize abuse early have more options to address it
  • Early intervention prevents years of psychological harm
  • Peer support matters—friends who understand abuse can help each other
  • Education (not crisis intervention) is the foundation of prevention
  • Young women respond best to education that removes shame and judgment

Our course is built on this research. We teach understanding before judgment. Prevention before crisis. Recognition before entanglement.

Partners who've integrated the course

"Integrating The Warning Signs into our health curriculum was one of the best decisions we've made. Students are more aware. Parents appreciate it. And we've had students open up about their own situations who wouldn't have otherwise."

Health teacher, secondary school

"As a school counselor, I'm grateful for this resource. It gives students language for what they're experiencing. It removes shame. And it opens conversations about healthy relationships that we weren't having before."

School counselor, high school

"Our students took the course during orientation. Parents loved it. We've seen students come to us with concerns about their relationships because they recognized patterns. That's exactly what we want."
